An Act to continue until further provision shall be made certain Duties Tolls Rates Fees and other Sums of Money imposed by the Governors of New South Wales and for other

" to stay Proceedings against any Governor or other persons concerned " in imposing and levying Dalies in New South Wales and to continue " until the first day of January one thousand, eight hundred and twenty- " one certain Duties and to empower the said Governor to levy a Duty " on Spirits made in the said Colony " it was enacted t h a t from and after t he pass ing of t h a t Ac t un t i l t h e first day of J a n u a r y one t h o u s a n d e igh t h u n d r e d and twenty-one i t should be lawful for t h e Governor of New South Wales to order and direct t he levy of any R a t e or D u t y which m i g h t have been imposed or usua l ly collected or levied in t h e said Colony previously to t h e pass ing of t h a t A c t and no o ther A n d whereas t h e said Act h a t h been since cont inued and is made pe rpe tua l by an Act m a d e in t h e four th year of t h e re ign of H i s present Majesty K i n g George t he F o u r t h in t i tu led " An Act to provide " until the first day of July one thousand eight hundred and twenty- " seven and- until the end of the next Session of Parliament for the " heller Administration of Justice in New South. used and in case t he p a y m e n t of any of t h e said Tolls Ha tes Pa re s Pees and other sums of money shal l be refused such a n d t h e l ike remedies by informat ion action or suit shal l and may be h a d a n d prosecuted by t h e officer or officers or o ther person or persons ent i t led to demand collect levy or receive t h e said Tolls Ha tes P a r e s Pees and other sums as if t h e same h a d been par t i cu la r ly specified and enforced by th is Ordinance .
2. A n d be it fur ther enacted T h a t all sums of money collected levied or received unde r and by v i r tue of th i s Act (other t h a n the fees of such publ ic officers as shal l not be ent i t led to a s t ipula ted salary in l ieu of such fees) shall be paid and accounted for to t he Colonial Treasurer of N e w South Wales or V a n P i e m e n ' s L a n d respectively as
