AN ACT to amend " The Cattle Diseases Ordinance, 1865," and the Imported Stock Acts of 1876, 1877, and 1879.

[ Assented to, 18th September, 1885. ]

HEREAS it has been deemed expedient to include Camels tation of cattle and stock into this Colony, and to make provisionWwithin the provisions of the Acts relating ,to the impor-

for the extension of the said Acts to other animals under certain circumstances : Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Gov- ernor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

1. THE words " cattle " or " stock " in " The Cattle Diseases Ordinance, 1865," and in " The Imported Stock Act, 1876," and in

2. THE Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,

may from time to time, by notice hi the Government Gazette, order Any other animals

that any other animals not included within the provisions of the aforesaid Acts shall be from the time mentioned in the said notice included therein, and from and after the time mentioned in the said notice the provisions of the said Acts shall apply to and include such other animals as aforesaid.

3.     THE production of a copy of the Government Gazette,

Government Gewette purporting to be printed by the Government Printer, and including

to he evidence. such a notice as aforesaid, shall be sufficient evidence at all times

and in all places that the animals mentioned in the said notice are included within the provisions of the said Acts and from the time stated in the said notice.

4.     THIS Act may be cited for all purposes as " The Imported

Short title and coin- Stock Amendment Act, 1885," and shall come into operation on the mentiement of Act. first clay of November, 1885.
