AN ACT to facilitate Leases and Sales of Settled Estates.

[ Assented to, 10th August, 1877. ]

HEREAS an Act was passed in the Imperial Parliament in

WPresent Majesty, intituled "-An Act to facilitate Leases and Salesthe nineteenth and twentieth year of the reign of Her	Preamble.
of Settled Estates," which said Act has been amended by divers Acts as hereafter appears ; and whereas it is expedient to adopt and apply the provisions of the said Act, so amended as aforesaid, in this Colony ; Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

c. 120.

Act of the Imperial Parliament passed in the 21st and 22nd year of	21 and 22 Viet., e. 77.
Her Present Majesty, cap. 77, by an Act passed in the 27th and	27 and 28 Viet., c. 45.

Leases and Sales of Settled Estates.

37 and 38 Viet., c. 33.	28th year, cap. 45, by an Act passed in the 37th and 38th year,
39 and 40 Viet., c. 30.	cap. 33, and by an Act passed in the 39th and 40th year, cap. 30, shall apply and be in force in this Colony; Provided always that any power by the said Act given to, or any act required to be done by, the Court of Chancery or the Lord Chancellor (whether with or without the concurrence of any other person or persons), may in this Colony respectively be exercised or done by the Supreme Court.
