cations and exceptions) an Act of Parliament intituled
An Act to abolish Forfeitures for Treason' and Felony
and to otherwise amend the law relating thereto'

| HEREAS a certain Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom | Preamble |
Whundred and seventy, intituled ' An Act to abolish Forfeitures forwas passed in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight
Treason and Felony and to otherwise amend the law relating thereto ; ' and whereas it is expedient to adopt the said Act in this Colony with certain modifications and exceptions : Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

Criminal Law
| Imperial Act 33 | 1. The said Act, save as is hereinafter provided and subject to the |

| adopted | modifications hereinafter set forth, shall be and the same is hereby adopted and directed to be applied in the administration of justice in the said Colony. |
| Certain sections | 2. The second, thirty-second and thirty-third sections of the said |

| Certain terms in | 3. The following words and terms, as used in the said Act, shall |
