This Plan is Hurstville Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Amendment No 9).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to land to which Hurstville Local Environmental Plan 2012 applies.

4 Amendment of Hurstville Local Environmental Plan 2012

Clause 4.4A Non-residential floor space ratios

Insert before clause 4.4A (1):

(1A)

The objective of this clause is to encourage an appropriate mix of

residential and non-residential uses in order to ensure a suitable level of

non-residential floor space is provided to promote employment and

reflect the hierarchy of the business zones.

Clause 4.4A (1)

Omit “0.5:1”. Insert instead “0.3:1”.

Clause 6.6 Active street frontages

Omit “business premises or retail premises” from clause 6.6 (5).

Insert instead “business premises, retail premises or medical centres”.
