HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Hunter Water Board Act 1988, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Citation
1. This Regulation may be cited as the Hunter Water Board (Area of Operations) Regulation 1991.
Area of operations
2. For the purpose of section 13 of the Hunter Water Board Act 1988.
the area of operations of the Hunter Water Board is the area specified in
Schedule 1.
SCHEDULE 1—AREA OF OPERATIONS OF THE HUNTER
WATER BOARD
(Cl. 2)
1. The islands in that part of the Hunter River between the confluence with the Williams River and the entrance of the Hunter
River (including Newcastle Harbour).
2. Any land under the waters of that part of the Hunter River between its confluence with the Williams River and the entrance of the Hunter River (including Newcastle Harbour) upon which there is erected any wharf, pier, jetty, building or other structure.

3. The Cities of Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock and Lake Macquarie.
4. The Shire of Port Stephens.
5. Those parts of the Shire of Singleton described as follows:

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to describe and extend the area of operations of the Hunter Water Board. The area described is the area of operations of the Hunter Water Board as it was immediately before the commencement of the Hunter Water Board Act 1988 with the addition of those parts of the Shire of Singleton described in clause 5 of Schedule 1 to the Regulation and as shown on the map accompanying this explanatory note.
