Act N o . 56 , 1980 .

An Act to amend the Hunter Valley Conservation Trust Act, 1950, so as to increase the area in respect of which a reduction in the conservation rate required to be levied under that Act applies. [Assented to, 28th April, 1980.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.      This Act may be cited as the "Hunter Valley Conservation

Trust (Amendment) Act, 1980".

2. The Hunter Valley Conservation Trust Act, 1950, is

amended—

(a) by inserting after section 49 (1) the following subsection :—

(1A) In its application to the levying of a conservation rate for any year, a reference in subsection (1) (e) to the boundaries set forth in Part 1 or 2 of the Schedule shall be construed as a reference to those boundaries as so set forth on 1st January next following the making of the conservation rate by the Trust.

(b) by omitting the Schedule and by inserting instead the following Schedule :—
