WH E R E A S specified in t h e Schedule to th i s A c t tonnage dut ies were in

unde r t h e au thor i ty of t h e several Ac t s of Counci l

respect of cer ta in vessels en te r ing the River H u n t e r and the H a r b o u r

of Wol longong or K i a m a from t h e sea made leviable for t he purposes

and a t t h e places a n d t imes in t h e said A c t s respectively prescr ibed in t h a t behalf a n d i t is expedient t h a t t h e collection of such duties should be discont inued Be i t therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Most Exce l len t Majesty by and wi th t h e advice a n d consent of t he Legislat ive Counci l and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled and b y t h e au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—

1. The several Ac ts of Counci l specified in t h e Schedule here to

shall bo and t h e same are to the ex ten t there in set forth hereby repealed.

2. This A c t m a y be cited as t h e " H u n t e r R iver W o l l o n g o n g

and K i a m a Tonnage Dut ies Abol i t ion A c t of 1 8 7 3 . "
