HOUSING LOANS ACT

An Act relating to housing

1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Housing Loans Act.

2Commencement

This Act shall commence upon a date to be notified by the Administrator in the Gazette.

4Home Finance Trustee

• (1)

  There shall be a Trustee.

• (2)

  The Trustee shall be a body corporate by the name of the Home Finance Trustee, and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and be capable of suing and being sued, and shall, subject to this Act, have power to acquire, purchase, sell, lease and hold and take mortgages of lands, tenements, hereditaments, goods, chattels, and any other property for the purposes of this Act.

• (3)

  All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial notice of the Seal of the Trustee affixed to any document or notice, and shall presume that it was duly affixed.
