Act No. 25, 1971.

An Act to further alter the conditions upon which the Treasurer may execute indemnities in respect of loans for housing purposes by certain institutions; for this purpose to amend the Housing Indem­ nities Act, 1962; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 27th September, 1971.]

T>E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follows: —

1. This Act may be cited as the "Housing Indemnities

(Amendment) Act, 1971".

2. The Housing Indemnities Act, 1962, is amended by omitting from paragraph (a) of section four the words "eight thousand five hundred dollars" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "ten thousand eight hundred dollars, or where some amount is prescribed such other amount".
