Housing Assistance (Amendment) Act
 1991

An Act to amend the Housing Assistance Act 1987

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

Short title

1.  This Act may be cited as the Housing Assistance (Amendment) Act 1991.

Principal Act

2.  In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Housing Assistance Act 1987.1

Housing Assistance programs

3.  Section 12 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (10) the definition of “relevant instrument” and substituting the following definition:

“ ‘relevant instrument’ means—

(a)a program or a variation; or

(b)a determination of fees made by the Commissioner under a housing assistance program, or a variation or revocation of such a determination;”.
