Housing Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Housing Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Housing Regulation 2003 . 3 Insertion of new s 58A After section 58— insert — 58A End of transitional period—Act, s 156, definition transitional period (1) This section prescribes, for the Act, section 156, definition transitional period , paragraph (b)(i), the end of the transitional period. (2) For an accommodation provider, other than a relevant entity, the prescribed day for the end of the transitional period is 30 June 2017. (3) For an accommodation provider that is a relevant entity, the prescribed day for the end of the transitional period is 30 June 2019. 4 Amendment of s 59A (Prescribed exempt providers—Act, sch 4, definition exempt provider ) Section 59A(3)(g)— omit, insert— (g) for a person or entity that is a relevant entity—30 June 2019; (h) for a person or entity, other than a relevant entity—30 June 2017.
