Hospitals (Services Charges for Compensable

Patients) Amendment Determination

(No. 2) 2016

Made by the Minister for Health.

1.            Citation

This determination is the Hospitals (Services Charges for Compensable Patients) Amendment Determination (No. 2) 2016.
2.	Commencement This determination comes into operation as follows —

3, 4 or 5
(a)	clauses 1 and 2 — on the day on which this determination is published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the determination — on 1 July 2016.

3.            Determination amended

This determination amends the Hospitals (Services Charges for
Compensable Patients) Determination 2005.

4.            Schedule 1 amended

(1) In Schedule 1 Division 1 item 1 delete "3 or 4" and insert:

(2) At the end of Schedule 1 Division 1 insert:

Accommodation, maintenance, nursing care

and other services in a hospital bed for a

patient requiring 24 hours care for airway

management, with or without tracheostomy $3 800 per day
