Hospitals (Services Charges) Amendment
Regulations (No. 3) 2003
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

These regulations may be cited as the Hospitals (Services
Charges) Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2003.2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2003.
3. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Hospitals

4. Regulation 4 amended
Regulation 4(1) is amended by inserting the following definitions in the appropriate alphabetical positions -

"participating hospital" means -
(a) Armadale Kelmscott Memorial Hospital; (b) Bentley Hospital; (c) Graylands Selby-Lemnos and Special
Care Hospital;(d) Osborne Park Hospital; (e) Royal Perth Hospital; or (f) Swan District Hospital;
"PBS price" means the price specified in the
National Health Act 1953 of the Commonwealth;

The Schedule is repealed and the following Schedule is inserted instead -

(c) for nursing home type patients ........................$32.30 per

(d) for private nursing home type patients -
(i) receiving extensive nursing care ................$107 per day
(ii) not receiving extensive nursing care .........$101 per day
(e) for ineligible in-patients ...................................$890 per day (f) for eligible war service veteran in-patients ........no charge

2. Drugs and medication - per calendar year -
(a) for pensioners and concessional beneficiaries -

(ii) for holders of a personal treatment entitlement card or specific treatment
