Hospitals (Licensing and Conduct of Private

Hospitals) Amendment Regulations 2020

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.   Citation

These regulations are the Hospitals (Licensing and Conduct of

Private Hospitals) Amendment Regulations 2020.

2.   Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3. Regulations amended

and Conduct of Private Hospitals) Regulations 1987.

These regulations amend the Hospitals (Licensing and Conduct

of Private Hospitals) Regulations 1987.

4.           Regulation I replaced

Delete regulation 1 and insert:

These regulations are the Private Hospitals (Licensing

5.           Regulation 6 amended

Delete regulation 6(b) and insert:

(b) if the licence holder permits a person to bring an animal onto the premises of the private hospital, the animal —

(i)      is effectively managed; and

(ii)    does not constitute a nuisance or health risk to the patients in the private hospital;

and
