HOSPITALS AND HEALTH SERVICES ACT 1927 HOSPITALS AND HEALTH SERVICES (APPOINTED

DAY—PRIVATE PSYCHIATRIC HOSTELS) NOTICE 1997

Made by the Minister under sections 26K (2) and 26Q of the Act.
Citation

1.   This notice may be cited as the Hospitals and Health Services (Appointed Day—

Private Psychiatric Hostels) Notice 1997.
Appointed days fixed

2.    (1) The appointed day in relation to section 26K (1) (a) and (b) of the Act as applicable

to and in relation to private psychiatric hostels is the same day as the Mental Health
Act 1996 comes into operation.

(2) The appointed day in relation to section 26K (1) (c) of the Act as applicable to and in relation to private psychiatric hostels is the day that is 30 days after the day on which the Mental Health Act 1996 comes into operation.
