HORTICULTURAL STOCK AND NURSERIES ACT 1969—

REGULATION

(Relating to registration and renewal of registration fees for

nurserymen and resellers)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,

and in pursuance of the Horticultural Stock and Nurseries Act 1969, has

been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 August 1994.

Amendments

2. The Horticultural Stock and Nurseries Regulation 1993 is amended:

(a)	by omitting from clause 4 (1) (b) the matter “$40” and by inserting instead the matter “$45”;
(b)	by omitting from clause 5 (1) (b) the matter “$25” and by inserting instead the matter “$30”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to increase the fees for applications for registration or renewal of registration of nurserymen from $40 to $45 and for registration or renewal of registration of resellers from $25 to $30 under the Horticultural Stock and Nurseries Regulation 1993.

This Regulation i s made under the Horticultural Stock and Nurseries Act 1969, including section 23 (the general regulation-making power, in particular, section 23 (1) (c)) and section 8.
