1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Hornsby Shire Local Environmental Plan 1994

(Amendment No 98).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

(1)	To the extent that this Plan permits, with consent, strata title subdivision, it applies to Lot 1, DP 901075, Lots 8–10, Section B, DP 2746 and Lot 6, DP 664306, known as 218 Brooklyn Road, Brooklyn.
(2)	To the extent that this Plan rezones land, it applies to that part of the land known as 218 Brooklyn Road, Brooklyn, as shown coloured pink and lettered “A” on the map marked “Hornsby Shire Local Environmental Plan 1994 (Amendment No 98)” deposited in the office of Hornsby Shire Council.
(3)	To the extent that this Plan amends the schedule of heritage items in Hornsby Shire Local Environmental Plan 1994 (the Principal Plan) to remove or add items or revise the description of items, it applies to land referred to in Schedule 1 [3]–[33].

(4) To the extent that this Plan amends the schedule of heritage conservation areas in the Principal Plan to replace the diagram of the Hornsby West Side Heritage Conservation Area with 3 new diagrams, it applies to land known as the Mt Errington Precinct Hornsby West Side Heritage Conservation Area, the Peats Ferry Road Precinct Hornsby West Side Heritage Conservation Area and the Pretoria Parade Precinct Hornsby West Side Heritage Conservation Area, as shown edged heavy black on the diagrams set out in Schedule 1 [34].
