1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Hornsby Local Environmental Plan 2013 (Amendment No 11).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to all the land to which Hornsby Local Environmental Plan 2013 applies.

4      Maps

The maps adopted by Hornsby Local Environmental Plan 2013 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the local plan-making authority on the making of this Plan.

[1]      Clause 1.8A Savings provisions relating to development applications

Insert at the end of the clause, after the note—

(2)	If a development application has been made before the commencement of
Hornsby Local Environmental Plan 2013 (Amendment No 11) in relation to
land to which that Plan applies and the application has not been finally determined before that commencement, the application must be determined as if that Plan had not commenced.

[2]      Clause 6.8 Design excellence

Omit clause 6.8(2). Insert instead—

(2)

This clause applies to development involving the erection of a new building or

external alterations to an existing building—

(a)	that will result in a building with a height of more than 29.6 metres, or
(b)	for the purposes of attached dwellings, multi dwelling housing, residential flat buildings or shop top housing.
