No. 47 of 1970.

AN ACT to amend the Honey Pool Act, 1955-1957.

[Assented to 8th October, 1970.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Honey Pool and citation.

Act Amendment Act, 1970.

(2) In this Act the Honey Pool Act, 1955-1957,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Honey Pool Act, 1955-1970.

substituting for the definition "Corporation" the

following definition

"Corporation" means The Honey Pool of Western Australia constituted under this Act; .

S. 2A added. 3. The principal Act is amended by adding after

section 2 the following section-

into operation of the Honey Pool Act Amend-

ment Act, 1970—

(a) the body corporate constituted under the Honey Pool Act, 1955, under the name of "The Trustees of the Honey Pool of Western Australia" is preserved and continued in exist- ence as a body corporate under and subject to the provisions of this Act under the name of "The Honey Pool of Western Australia" but so that the corporate identity of the body cor- porate and its rights, powers, liabilities and duties shall not be affected; and

(b) a reference-

(i) in this Act; and

(ii)  in any other Act or in any other law of the State or document in force immediately before the date of the coming into operation of the Honey Pool Act Amendment Act, 1970,

to The Trustees of the Honey Pool of Western Australia shall be read as a reference to The Honey Pool of Western Australia.
