Honey Levy (No. 1) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration the recommendations made to the Minister of State for Primary Industry by the Honey Research Committee with respect to the rate to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 5 (1) (b) of the Honey Levy Act (No. 1) 1962, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 November 1985.

Prescribed rate of levy

2. Regulation 4 of the Honey Levy (No. 1) Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following sub-regulation:

“(2) For the purposes of paragraph 5 (1) (b) of the Honey Levy Act (No. 1) 1962,the rate of levy is 0.35 cent per kilogram of honey.”.
