Home Building Legislation Amendment New South Wales

Act 2001 No 51—Proclamation

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Home Building Legislation Amendment Act 2001, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30 November 2001 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a) Schedule 2 [6] and [11],

(b) Schedule 4 [5]–[7],

(c) Schedule 6 [17] (to the extent to which it inserts section 96A (1) into the Home Building Act 1989),

(d) Schedule 6 [18],

(e) Schedule 10 [1]–[5].

Home Building Legislation Amendment Act 2001 No 51—Proclamation
Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence certain amendments to the Home Building Act 1989 relating to insurance and amendments to the Fair Trading Tribunal Act 1998 relating to the enforcement of certain orders of the Fair Trading Tribunal.

This proclamation is made under section 2 of the Home Building Legislation Amendment Act 2001.
