Home Building Further Amendment
(Application Fees) Regulation 2005

Home Building Act 1989
Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Home Building Act 1989.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to vary application fees for the restoration of contractor vary restoration application fees for authorities, licences or certificates issued under Acts administered by the Minister for Fair Trading. The overall purpose of these Regulations is to promote consistency in the method used to calculate these fees. In line with this overall purpose, the amendments in this Regulation ensure that:
licences and building consultancy licences payable under the Home Building Act 1989.
| (a) | the processing component of the restoration application fee is double the processing component of the renewal application fee, and |
| (b) | the restoration application fee is higher than the renewal application fee but lower than the application fee for a new licence. |
This Regulation is made under the Home Building Act 1989, including section 140 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Home Building Further Amendment (Application
Fees) Regulation 2005.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 16 January 2006.
3 Amendment of Home Building Regulation 2004
The Home Building Regulation 2004 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.
