His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Home Building Act 1989.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Home Building Regulation 2014 as follows:
| (a) | to increase the application fees payable in connection with the administration of the Home Building Act 1989, |
| (b) | to decrease (from $48 to $45) the fee payable for the replacement of a contractor licence, certificate or owner-builder permit so as to be in line with the fee charged for the same type of service in other administered licensing regulations. |
The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (rounded to the nearest general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Home Building Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2016.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2016 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.
