His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Home Building Act 1989.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Home Building Regulation 2004 to increase certain application fees payable in connection with the administration of the Home Building Act 1989. The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (rounded to the nearest dollar).
This Regulation is made under the Home Building Act 1989, including sections 19, 24 and 30 (application to contractor licences, tradesperson and supervisor certificates and owner-builder permits of the Licensing and Registration (Uniform Procedures) Act 2002) and 140 (the general regulation-making power) and, in particular, section 140 (2) (j).

Regulation 2010.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2010 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
