I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

An Ordinance to amend the Holidays Ordinance 1958
Short title
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Holidays (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.1
Public holidays
2. Section 3 of the Holidays Ordinance 19582 is amended by omitting from subparagraph (1) (a) (ii) “does not fall on a Monday” and substituting “falls on a Saturday or Sunday”.
