An Ordinance to amend the Holidays Ordinance 1958
Short title
| 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Holidays | (Amendment) | Ordinance |

Public holidays
2. Section 3 of the Holidays Ordinance 19582 is amended—
| (a) | by inserting after sub-paragraph (1) (a) (vi) the following sub-paragraph: |
| 2. | No. 19,1958 as amended by No. 1,1980. |
"(via) the second Monday in June (the day for the observance of
the anniversary of the birthday of the Sovereign);"; and
| (b) | by omitting sub-paragraphs (1) (a) (ix) and (x) and substituting the following sub-paragraph: |
"(ix) the twenty-sixth day of December (Boxing Day), or, if that
day falls on a Sunday or a Monday, the following day; and".
