An Ordinance to amend the Holidays Ordinance 1958

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following

Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

HOLIDAYS (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1980

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Holidays (Amendment) Ordinance

1980.'

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Holidays Ord­

inance 1958.2

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel-also accessible at

Public holidays

3. Section 3 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after sub­

paragraph (1) (a) (ii) the following sub-paragraph:

"(iia) the third Monday in March (Canberra Day);".
