A ACTS MENDMENT [ASSENTED TO 17TH OCTOBER, 1935.] ACT OF 1935. B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. This Act may be cited as "The Holidays Acts Short title Amendment Act of 1935," and shall be read as one with and t ct' *"The Holidays Act of 1912" (as amended by subsequent cons ru IOn. Acts), herein collectively referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may collectively be cited as " The Holidays Acts, 1912 to 1935." 2. The Principal Act is amended as follows;- Amendment of Principal In the Schedule the words and brackets" {Foundation Act Day)," occurring after the words "The Twenty-sixth (Schedule). day of January," are repealed and the words and brackets namely "(Australia Day)" are inserted in lieu thereof. In the last paragraph of the Schedu1e the words "Foundation Day" are repealed and the words " Australia Day" are inserted· in lieu thereof.
