Hire-Purchase (General) Amendment

Regulations 2004

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These are the Hire-Purchase (General) Amendment
Regulations 2004.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which Part 2 Jurisdiction) Amendment and Repeal Act 2004 comes into operation or on the day of their publication in the Gazette, whichever is the later.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Hire-Purchase
(General) Regulations 1975*.

4.             The Schedule amended

(1) The note to The Schedule Form 1 is amended by deleting “a
Local Court to alter the decision.” and inserting instead —
“

the State Administrative Tribunal for a review of the decision.

”.

(2) The Schedule Form 2 note 4 is amended by deleting “within
7 days from the date of service on him of the decision apply to a
Local Court for the decision to be varied or set aside.” and
inserting instead —
“

apply to the State Administrative Tribunal for a review of the

decision.

”.
