AN ACT to amend Section five of the Hire Purchase
Agreements Aet, 1931.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-
This Act may be cited as the Hire Purchase Agree- ments Act Amendment Act, 1937, and shall be read as one with the Hire Purchase Agreements Act, 1931 (No.

| (a) | by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the |

(1.) A)Thenever the vendor (except by the re- quest or at the instance of the purchaser) shall take possession of any chattel the subject of a hire purchase agreement the vendor shall within twenty-one days thereafter prepare and serve on the purchaser an account under this section as between the vendor and the purchaser;
| (b) | by adding a subsection after subsection (1), as |

(la.) If a vendor takes possession of a chattel,

purchaser, he shall serve a copy of the provis-

days after taking possession of the chattel.
Penalty: Twenty pounds.
