B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, . by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- :!d rt title 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as "The Hire- construction. 1943. HIRE-PURCHASE. Hire-Purchase Agreement Acts Amendment Act. 103 3. Provided that for the purposes of this section, the said lastmentioned section twenty-seven shall be read and construed so as to extend to proceedings for the recovery of the possession of chattels comprised in a hire-purchase agreement without restriction as to the value of such chattels; and to the intent that for the purpose only of the application of the said section twenty-seven to proceedings for the recovery of the possession of chattels comprised in a hire-purchase agreement- (i.) Subsection one of the said section twenty- seven shall be construed and have effect as if the words " the value of which is not greater than twenty pounds, and not being deeds, muniments, or papers relating to any property of greater value than fifty pounds" were omitted; and (ii. ) Subsection two of the said section twenty- seven shall be construed and have effect as if the words" not being greater than twenty pounds" were omitted." 4.
