Legislative history

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Highways Act (Application of Highways Fund) Regulations 1998.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 1 September 1998.

3—Revocation

The Highways Act (Application of Highways Fund) Regulations 1985 are revoked.

4—Interpretation

In these regulations—

the Act means the Highways Act 1926.

5—Prescription of amount under section 32(1)(m) of the Act

The amount of fourteen million seven hundred thousand dollars ($14 700 000) is prescribed pursuant to section 32(1)(m)(i)(b) of the Act in relation to the 1998/1999 financial year and each subsequent financial year.

Revocation of regulations
