1  Name

This is the Higher Education Support (The Quest Group Pty Limited) VET Provider Approval Revocation 2016.

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on 12 September 2016.

3  Authority  

This instrument is made under clause 39 of Schedule 1A to the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

4  Definitions

In this instrument:

Act means the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

body means The Quest Group Pty Limited ACN 051 804 267.

Note:             The terms VET Guidelines and VET provider have the same meaning as given in the Act.

5Notice of revocation of approval as a VET provider

The body’s approval as a VET provider is revoked in accordance with clause 39 of Schedule 1A to the Act subject to subclause 39(2A) of Schedule 1A to the Act and section 6 of this instrument.

The Higher Education Support Act 2003 - VET Provider Approval (No. 68 of 2013) is revoked.

6  Conditions to apply to body after revocation

Clauses 26, 46, 46A, 47–51 and 56 of Schedule 1A to the Act, and sections 31, 33, 39, 42, 43, 48–58, 65 and 80 of the VET Guidelines, continue to apply to the body following its revocation as if the body were still approved as a VET provider.

Note:             Paragraph 39(2A)(a) of Schedule 1A to the Act also provides that, after the body’s revocation, clauses 45E and 46B of Schedule 1A to the Act continue to apply to the body as if the body were still approved as a VET provider.
