1  Name

This instrument is the Higher Education Support (Maximum Payments for Other Grants) Determination 2020.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 41-45(1B) of the Act.

4  Definitions

In this instrument:

Act means the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

6  Determination of maximum payments

  For the purposes of item 13 of the table in subsection 41-45(1) of the Act, the total payments made under Part 2-3 of the Act in respect of a year referred to below must not exceed the amount specified:

(a)  for the year 2020—$1,784,061,000;

(b)  for the year 2021—$3,276,103,423;

(c)  for the year 2022— $2,265,000,000;

(d)  for the year 2023— $2,412,000,000; and

(e) for the year 2024—$2,241,533,000.
