Student Learning Entitlement (Repeal) Instrument 2011

I, Chris Evans, Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research, repeal under subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 the Student Learning Entitlement Guidelines for the purpose of item 10 of the table in subsection 238-10(1) of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

Student Learning Entitlement (Repeal) Instrument 2011

(i)         CITATION

This legislative instrument may be cited as the Student Learning Entitlement (Repeal) Instrument 2011.

(ii)        AUTHORITY

This legislative instrument is made under subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 and subsection 238-10(1) of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (the Act). Under Item 10 of the table in subsection 238-10(1) the Minister may, by legislative instrument, make the Student Learning Entitlement Guidelines to provide for matters in Part 3-1 of the Act.

(iii)       COMMENCEMENT

This legislative instrument commences on 1 January 2012.

(iv)      Repeal of Student Learning Entitlement Guidelines

The Student Learning Entitlement Guidelines made on 21 July 2004 and registered on 24 October 2005 are repealed.
