Declaration of List of Other Grants (Research) under Division 41 for 2010
I, Senator the Hon Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, under section 41-50 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (‘the Act’), approve the following list of the maximum amounts of all Other Grants (Research) which may be paid in 2010 for each purpose of grant specified under items 7, 8, 10 and 11(b) in the Table in subsection 41-10(1) of that Act.

* The other items in the Table in section 41-10(1) of the Act are administered by the Minister for Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
** This amount includes $1,000,000 (one million dollars) that was recorded in the Department’s Portfolio Budget Statements (PBS) 2009-10 as an ‘Administered Item’. The Department’s Budgets and Estimates Team has advised that this amount may be incorporated into the HESA 2003 funding, for the 2010 grant payments, as part of the special appropriation under Program 2.2 of the Department’s PBS 2009-10.
