Part 1  Preliminary

1Name

This instrument is the Higher Education (Maximum Amounts for Commonwealth Scholarships) Determination 2013.

2Authority

This instrument is made under subsections 46-40(2) and (3) of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

3Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

Scholarships

4Determination of the maximum amounts

(i)For the purpose of item 11 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2014 is $314,637,000.

(ii)For the purpose of item 12 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2015 is $313,856,000.

(iii)For the purpose of item 13 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2016 is $313,858,000.

(iv)For the purpose of item 14 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2017 is $313,858,000.
