An Act to close and abolish that portion of High-street, Alstonville, lying between Commercial-road and the w e n u e , and to vest the same in Robert Gibson, William Alexander Johnston, and William Condie Renwick, as trustees for the Alstonville

High-street is not bounded by any property other than that of the said Robert Gibson, wil l iam Alexander Johnston, and William Condie
Renwick as such trustees as aforesaid, and is of no use to the public :
And whereas the Alstonville and Richmond River Farmers' Club Agricultural and Horticultural Society in the said indenture of the twelfth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, referred to is now known as the Alstonville Agricultural Society: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative
Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament Assembled, and by the
authority of the same, as follows :—1. From and after the commencement of this Act it shall be lawful for the said Robert Gibson, William Alexander Johnston, and
William Condie Renwick to close up that portion of the roadway
known as High-street, described in the Schedule hereto, and it shall be further lawful for the said Robert Gibson, William Alexander Johnston, and William Condie Renwick as such trustees as aforesaid under the said indenture of declaration of trust, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, and for the trustees and trustee for the time being of the said indenture, and for all persons now or hereafter entitled or beneficially interested under the said indenture, to have the
exclusive use and possession of the said land described in the Schedule
hereto, and to prevent all persons from coming, or passing along, or in any way using the same, and the said last-mentioned land shall
become, remain, and be vested in the said Robert Gibson, William
Alexander Johnston, and will iam Condie Renwick as such trustees as aforesaid, and in their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns,
for an estate in fee simple in possession, but subject to the trusts of,and for the use and benefit of, the persons now or hereafter to be entitled under the said indenture of declaration of trust, and free from
all rights, easements, and privileges of any person or body corporatethen previously existing, or claimed in, over, or upon or in respect of
the said land.
2. I f any action or suit, or other legal proceeding, shall be instituted, issued, or taken by any person or body corporate against the said Robert Gibson, wil l iam Alexander Johnston, and wil l iam Condie Renwick, or any or either of them, or the trustees or trustee
for the time being of the said indenture of declaration of trust, or any
person now or hereafter claiming or entitled thereunder in respect of the said land described in the Schedule hereto, or of any right, easement, or privilege in respect thereof, or in respect of anything done in the exercise of the powers hereby conferred, it shall be lawfulfor the said Robert Gibson, wil l iam Alexander Johnston, and wil l iam
Condie Renwick, and each and every of them, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, and for the heirs, executors, administrators
and
and assigns of each and every of them, and for the said trustees and trustee and persons aforesaid, to plead the general issue and give this
Act in evidence thereunder.
3. This Act may be cited as the " High-street, Alstonville, Closing Act of 1900 ."
S C H E D U L E .
The following is the Schedule above referred to.
A L L that piece or parcel of land situated at Alstonville, in the parish of Tuckombil,
county of Rous, and State of New South Wales, and comprising the site of portion of High-street commencing at the intersection of the eastern side of Commercial-road with the northern side of High-street ; and bounded thence on the north by the ncrthern side of High-street, bearing easterly nine hundred and twenty-three links; on the east by
part of the western side of the wenue , bearing southerly one hundred links ; on the
south by the southern side of High-street, bearing westerly nine hundred and twenty- three links ; and thence on the west by part of the eastern side of Commercial-road, bearing northerly one hundred links, to the point of commencement.
