AN ACT to amend the High School Act, 1876.

[Assented to 15th November, 1929.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, hiand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

1.    (1.) This Act may be cited as the High School Act short title.

Amendment Act, 1929, and shall be read as one with the High

School Act, 1876.

(2.) This Act shall come into operation on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

2.    (1.) The name of the High School, Perth, is hereby Change of name.

changed to "Hale School"; and the name or style of "The Governors of the High School, Perth," as a body politic and corporate, is hereby changed to "The Governors of Hale School."

(2.) Wherever in the principal Act, or any Act incorpor- ated therewith or in any other Act, reference is made to the High School, or to The Governors of the High School, Perth, such reference shall, by virtue of this Act. be deemed to be made to Hale School or The Governors of Hale School, as the case may be.
