High Court Rules 2(Amendment)

WE, Justices of the High Court, make the following Rules of Court under the Judiciary Act 1903.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Rules commence on 1 April 1992.

2.   Amendment

2.1    The High Court Rules are amended as set out in these Rules.

3.   New Order 71, rule 107

3.1   After Order 71, rule 106, insert in Order 71:

Taxing fees payable

“107.

The fee payable for taxing a bill of costs is payable on completion of taxation whether or not a certificate of taxation is issued.”.

4.   Order 72, rule 8 (Fees)

4.1   Omit the rule.

5.   Order 72, rule 9 (Fees required to be paid)

5.1   Omit the rule

6.   Order 72, rule 11 (Registrar to decide disputed fees)

6.1   Omit the rule.

7.   Order 72, rule 12 (Court may remit fees)

7.1   Omit the rule.

8.   Order 72, rule 13 (Remission of fees by Attorney-General)

8.1   Omit the rule.

9.   Order 72, rule 14 (Conventions)

9.1   Omit the rule.

10.   Third Schedule (Fees and Charges)

10.1   Omit the Schedule.
