Heritage (Liturgical Purposes Form) Regulations

2001

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Heritage (General) Regulations 1996 to prescribe the form of notice for alterations for liturgical purposes without a permit.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 65 and

185 of the Heritage Act 1995.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 April

2001.

4. New regulation 7A inserted

After regulation 7 of the Heritage (General)
Regulations 19961 insert—

Heritage (Liturgical Purposes Form) Regulations 2001

"7A. Form of notice for alterations for liturgical

purposes

For the purposes of section 65(2) of the Act the prescribed form of notice to carry out alterations for liturgical purposes without a permit is the form set out in Schedule 2A.".

5. Insertion of Schedule 2A

After Schedule 2 to the Heritage (General)

Regulations 1996 insert—
