Henry Wait Bequest Act 1904 (NSW)

Act No. 10, 1904.

An Act to author ise the Director of the Govern­ men t Asylums for the Infirm to pay to the Par ramat ta District Hospi tal and the Parra- mat ta Benevolent Society, in equal shares, certain moneys received and receivable by h im under the will of the late H e n r y Wait . [4th November, 1904.]

WHEREAS Henry Wait, late of Redfern, Sydney, in (lie State last will and testament, dated the fourteenth day of July, one thousand of New South Wales, freeholder, duly made and executed his

eight hundred and ninety-six, and thereby appointed the Perpetual Trustee Company (Limited), of Sydney, the trustees and executors of his said will, and directed that they should stand possessed of his residuary estate in trust (inter alia) as to five hundred pounds for the Infirm and Destitute Asylum, Parramatta, and as to the residue of his residuary estate to pay and divide equally the same amongst and between the institutions mentioned in his said will: And whereas the said trustees and executors have paid to the Director of the Government Asylums for the Infirm the sum of one thousand one hundred pounds for and on behalf of the said Infirm and Destitute Asylum, Parramatta : And whereas it is expedient that the said sum of one thousand one hundred pounds should be divided equally between the Parramatta District Hospital and the Parramatta Benevolent Society: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

for the Infirm to pay to the Parramatta District Hospital and the Parramatta Benevolent Society a moiety each of the one thousand one hundred pounds and interest accrued thereon received by him on behalf of the Infirm and Destitute Asylum, Parramatta, and of any further sums to be received by him in that behalf under the said bequest.
