3 Hen Quotas Amendment (No. 1) No. 271, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Hen Quotas Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Hen Quotas Regulation 1988 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Commencement 3. This regulation commences on 28 July 1993. ˙ Replacement of s.4 (Forms) 4. Section 4— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Prescribed forms ‘4.(1) The forms to be used for the purposes of the Act are the forms approved by the chief executive. ‘(2) A person may request the chief executive to give the person a document setting out a form approved under subsection (1). ‘(3) The chief executive must comply promptly with a request under subsection (2). ’. ˙ Replacement of s.7 (Term of office) 5. Section 7— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Term of office ‘7.(1) The following persons may hold office for a period of 12 months— (a) a person appointed under section 7 of the Act to be a member of the Committee;

4 Hen Quotas Amendment (No. 1) No. 271, 1993 (b) a person appointed under section 26 of the Act to be a member of the Appeals Tribunal. ‘(2) If a member of the Committee or the Appeals Tribunal attains the age of 70 years prior to the conclusion of the period referred to in subsection (1), the person ceases to hold office unless otherwise determined by the Governor in Council. ’. ˙ Amendment of s.10 (Application for an egg producer’s basic hen quota) 6. Section 10— omit ‘ Form 1 ’, insert ‘ the approved form ’. ˙ Amendment of s.11 (Application for increase in egg producer’s basic hen quota) 7. Section 11— omit ‘ Form 2 ’, insert ‘ the approved form ’. ˙ Amendment of s.12 (Surrender and disposal of egg producer’s basic hen quota) 8. Section 12— omit ‘ Form 3 ’, insert ‘ the approved form ’. ˙ Amendment of s.13 (Transfer of the quota without the land to which the quota attaches) 9.(1) Section 13(2)— omit ‘ Form 4 ’, insert ‘ the approved form ’.
