2 Hen Quotas Amendment (No. 1) No. 427, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Hen Quotas Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1992 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Hen Quota Regulation 1988 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Replacement of s.1 (Short title) 3. Section 1— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Short title ‘1. This regulation may be cited as the Hen Quotas Regulation 1988 . ’. ˙ Amendment of s.13 (Transfer of quota without the land to which the quota attaches) 4.(1) Section 13(6)(b)— omit. (2) Section 13(6)(c) and (d)— renumber as paragraphs (b) and (c) respectively. ˙ Omission of s.16 (Limitation on transfer amongst corporations) 5. Section 16— omit. ˙ Replacement of s.20 (Limitation on egg producer’s basic hen quota) 6. Section 20— omit, insert—

3 Hen Quotas Amendment (No. 1) No. 427, 1992 ˙ ‘Limitation on egg producer’s basic hen quota ‘20. For the purposes of section 46A of the Act, the prescribed number of hens is— (a) in the case of a corporation—200 000; and (b) in the case of an individual—200 000. ’. ENDNOTES 1.
