HEALTH (TREATMENT OF SEWAGE AND DISPOSAL OF EFFLUENT

AND LIQUID WASTE) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (No. 3) 1997

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Health (Treatment of Sewage and

Disposal of Effluent and Liquid Waste) Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 1997.

Principal regulations

2.      In these regulations the Health (Treatment of Sewage and Disposal of

Effluent and Liquid Waste) Regulations 1974* are referred to as the principal regulations.

Division 2 of Part 2 amended

3.      Division 2 of Part 2 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting

the heading "Inspection and Approval to Use an Apparatus." immediately

preceding regulation 9.

Regulation 15 amended

4.     Regulation 15 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting

"written permission" and substituting the following —

" the written permission ".

Regulation 36 amended

5.     Regulation 36 (4) of the principal regulations is amended by deleting

"A environmental health officer" and substituting the following —

" An environmental health officer ".

Various references to "a environmental health officer" changed to
"an environmental health officer"

6. The principal regulations are amended in each regulation listed in the Table to this regulation by deleting "a environmental health officer" wherever it occurs and substituting in each case the following —

" an environmental health officer ".

Regulation 54 amended

7.     Regulation 54 of the principal regulations is amended in the Table to

subregulation (1) by deleting "20" and substituting the following —

" 20, ".

Schedule 7 amended

8.     Schedule 7 to the principal regulations is amended by inserting after

"(Reg. 49 (1))" the following heading —

" Form No. 1. ".
