Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 1 October 2015, the Health Services Union (the organisation) lodged with the Fair

Work Commission (the Commission) the prescribed information in relation to an election to a

casual vacancy for the following offices:

National Assistant Secretary

National Junior Vice President

[2]        On 29 October 2015, staff of the Commission requested documentation from the

organisation verifying the casual vacancies. Further documentation was received from Chris

Brown, National Secretary, on 29 October 2015.

[3]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
