MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 62 of the Health Services Act 1997, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

Under the Health Services Act 1997, an organisation or institution whose name is included in Column 1 of Schedule 3 is an affiliated health organisation in respect of any of its recognised establishments and recognised services.

The Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the diocese of Maitland-Newcastle
are an affiliated health organisation in respect of St Joseph’s Home, Sandgate.
The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 3 to the Health Services Act 1997
to provide for the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the diocese of

Maitland-Newcastle to cease to be an affiliated health organisation.

2 Amendment of Health Services Act 1997 No 154

The Health Services Act 1997 is amended by omitting the matter relating to the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the diocese of Maitland-Newcastle from Schedule 3.
