2 Health Services (Public Hospitals Fees and Charges) Amendment (No. 2) No. 453, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Health Services (Public Hospitals Fees and Charges) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1992 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 January 1993. ˙ Amended regulation 3. The Health Services (Public Hospitals) Fees and Charges Regulation1992 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Replacement of s.1 (Short title) 4. Section 1— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Short title ‘1. This regulation may be cited as the Health Services (Public Hospitals Fees and Charges) Regulation 1992 . ’. ˙ Amendment of s.4 (Accommodation etc. charges) 5. Section 4(1)— omit, insert— ‘4.(1) An Authority may charge, for patient accommodation and other services specified in the Medicare Agreement, the fees and charges that are specified opposite the following classes of patients— (a) eligible person, who is a patient of a private medical practitioner, accommodated in a single room— per day . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 300
