THOMAS FREDERICK BATHURST, Lieutenant-Governor I, the Honourable Thomas Frederick Bathurst, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 62 of the Health Services Act 1997, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The affiliated health organisations of Sacred Heart Hospice Limited, St Joseph’s Hospital Ltd and St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Ltd are to be consolidated and the new organisation that will control their relevant recognised establishments or services will be known as St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Limited on and from 1 July 2013. The recognised establishment or service known as Sacred Heart Hospice is to be renamed Sacred Heart Health Service.
The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 3 (Affiliated health organisations) to the Health
Services Act 1997 to give effect to the abovementioned consolidation and renaming.

This Order is made under section 62 (2) of the Health Services Act 1997.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Health Services Amendment (St Vincent’s Hospital
Sydney Limited) Order 2013.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 2013 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 3 Affiliated health organisations

Omit the matter relating to Sacred Heart Hospice Limited, St Joseph’s Hospital Ltd and St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Ltd from Columns 1 and 2.

Insert instead in Columns 1 and 2, respectively:

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Limited Sacred Heart Health Service.
St Joseph’s Hospital (Auburn).
St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst.
